Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or ask Rancho Cucamonga Sunrooms & Patios to give you an estimate or do work at your home. By using the site, sending us a request or booking an estimate, you agree to them, so if you don't agree, please don't use the site.
In these terms, "we," "us" and "our" mean Rancho Cucamonga Sunrooms & Patios, and "you" means the person using the site or hiring us. If you sign a written contract with us for a job, that contract controls wherever it differs from these terms.
What we do
We're a sunroom contractor in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, building and remodeling sunrooms, patio enclosures, screen rooms, patio covers and related work for homes in Rancho Cucamonga and the cities around it. Our home page lists the services we offer, and you can read more about how we work on our About page.
Descriptions, photos and examples on this site are general information. They aren't a promise that a design, material or result is right for your house, because that depends on your home, your lot and what your city allows. What we build for you is set out in your written estimate or contract.
Estimates and pricing
Our on-site estimates are free and come with no obligation. Nothing on this website is a price quote, since the price of a sunroom depends on its size, the materials you choose, the condition of your slab or deck and what your permit requires.
An estimate is based on what we can see and measure at your house and on what you tell us. If we open things up and find something we couldn't see, such as damaged framing or a slab that won't carry the new room, we'll explain it, give you the added cost in writing and wait for your OK before we do that work.
An estimate holds for the period written on it. Material prices change, so after that period we may need to update the price before we schedule your job. Any change you ask for after you sign is also put in writing, with its cost, before we start on it.
Scheduling and cancellation
When you sign, we'll give you a start date and an expected timeline. Those dates are our best estimate, because weather, permit and inspection timing, material deliveries and conditions we find on site can move them, and we'll tell you as soon as we know about a delay.
If you need to move or cancel an estimate visit, call us at (909) 360-4006 or use our contact page as early as you can. If you cancel a signed contract, the cancellation terms in that contract apply, along with any right to cancel you have under California law, and you may owe for materials already ordered or work already done.
Payment
Your written contract sets the payment schedule, the amount of each payment and when each one is due. Final payment is due when the work in your contract is complete.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's paid. To the extent California law and your contract allow, you may also be responsible for reasonable costs of collecting an amount that's past due.
Our guarantee and warranties
We're licensed and insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about our work isn't right, call us and we'll come out and look at it.
Any written warranty on our workmanship is the one stated in your contract. Products we install, such as windows, glass, roof panels and framing, carry their makers' warranties, which we pass along to you and which follow the makers' own terms.
Warranties don't cover damage from misuse, from changes or repairs made by someone else, from skipped maintenance, or from storms, earthquakes, fire or other events outside our control.
Apart from our guarantee and any written warranty in your contract, this website and its content are provided "as is," and to the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied.
Limits on our liability
To the extent California law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that come from using this website or relying on its general information. Our responsibility for work done at your house is set by your contract and the law that applies to it.
Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law doesn't allow a business to limit.
Resolving a disagreement
If you have a problem with our work or a bill, tell us first, by phone or through our contact page, so we can try to put it right. Most problems get settled that way.
If we can't settle it between us within a reasonable time, either of us may try mediation or take the matter to a court that has jurisdiction over it. If your contract sets out other steps for resolving disputes, those steps apply to work done under it.
Which law applies
These terms, and any dispute about them or about our work, are governed by the laws of the State of California. Unless your contract says otherwise, a dispute goes to the courts in the county where the work was done.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page applies from the day it's posted. An update doesn't change a contract you've already signed with us.
If you have questions about these terms, call (909) 360-4006 or reach us through our contact page.
