About your Rancho Cucamonga sunroom contractor

Who builds your sunroom or patio cover, how I learned the trade, and what to expect once we come out to your house.

A bright sunroom addition with white-framed windows, a round stone-look table, and dark wicker chairs overlooking a lawn.

How I got into building sunrooms

Before I built sunrooms, I spent years doing upkeep for a property management company. A lot of that work was fixing leaky patio covers, sagging enclosures and sunrooms somebody put up in a hurry. I learned how these rooms go together by taking apart the ones that failed, and in 2017 I started building them myself, based right here in Rancho Cucamonga.

Most people who call us want more use out of a patio or deck. Some are stuck with a room that was done badly, and I know that call well. I care about one thing most, which is a room that still works long after we pack up. I'll also tell you plainly when a simpler room will do what you want, because there's no sense paying for more than you'll use. You can see every kind of room we build on our home page.

What you get when we build your room

  1. A room that stays dry and square

Most of the rooms I used to repair failed at the same few spots, where water ran off the roof and where the frame met the house. We build those spots carefully so water goes where it should, doors and windows close right and nothing gets hidden behind trim.

  2. The person who prices it is on the job

I come out myself to look at your house, measure and put the price in writing. Our own crew does the building and I'm on site with them, so the room gets built the way I quoted it.

  3. We handle the permit when you need one

Before we start, we check what your city wants for your address, and if the job needs a permit, we pull it and work with the city's building office through the inspections. In Rancho Cucamonga, patio covers are on the list of work the city issues permits for, so you don't have to sort that out on your own.

Licensed and insured

Serving Rancho Cucamonga and 11 surrounding cities

  • California contractor license

The Contractors State License Board licenses and regulates construction work across California, and we're licensed and insured. Under the board's rules, a down payment on a home improvement job can be no more than $1,000, and less on smaller jobs, with later payments tied to work done or materials delivered.

  • City business license

The City of Rancho Cucamonga requires anyone doing business in the city to get a business license before starting and to renew it every year. That's separate from the state contractor license, so a contractor working here needs both.
